Which was the FIRST professional sports team in America?...Answer is the Cincinnati Reds baseball team, formed in 1869. They toured the nation, playing amateur town teams. That led to the formation of the lust pro baseball league in 1871 and soon there were many pro teams in sports - but the Cincinnati Reds were the first professional team in the U.§. Oddly enough, the Baltimore Orioles once fielded a lineup in which almost every player had a last name starting with "B".. It happened in a game in 1965 when Bal timore had Jackie Brandt in leftfield. Paul Blair in center, Sam Bowens in right, Curt Blefary at first: Mark Belanger at short. Dick Brown catching and Steve Barber pitching. And the manager's name was Hank Bauer! Here's a surprising fact ..Although football and basketball have had many great players who stood 6-7 6-8 or taller, there is W0 ONE in baseball's Hall of Fame taller than 6 6 The tallest player in baseball's Hall of Fame is Don Drysdale who stood 6-6 % us' you didn't know that now is the bast- time to buy a new automobile And new s the best time to see Keith Leathers.
