Extra lawn chairs, blankets and a can of bug spray should be on everyone's list. Many parish organizations will be represented; there will be plenty of opportunity to enjoy the features of Petersen Park; and a chance to catch up on all the news. Prayer is planned St. Patrick Catholic Church will host a special prayer vigil every weekday morning until Aug. 15, Catholic Feast of the Assumption. Prior to this Holy Day dedicated to the Virgin Mary, participants will dedicate a daily Rosary for peaceful solutions to the complex problems of the Middle East, after the 8 a.m. Mass Saturdays and before the 8 a.m. Mass weekdays. Members of the community who enjoy praying the Rosary together are invited to attend this important vigil declared by Diocesan Vicar Father Tom Brady.
