Hockett, 82, 806 South- gate, McHenry, died suddenly Wednesday, Aug. 7, 1985, in North­ ern Illinois Medical Center, McHen­ ry. She was born in Bucklin, Mo. Sept 10, 1902, to William and Ade­ line (Hunter) Burris. A resident of McHenry the past 12 years, formerly of chicago, Mrs. Hockett was a member of the Meth­ odist church in Bucklin and the Roy­ al Neighbors. Surviving are two sons, Arthur (Beraadine) of McHenry and R. Eu­ gene (Joyce) of Nashville, Tenn; three grandchildren and four great­ grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Plant sale at church St John the Baptist Parish in Johnsburg is sponsoring a Tropical Plant Sale Aug. 8 through Aug. 25, seven days a week, from 10 un. to 7 pm., on Route 120. Time will be a variety of plants to choose from, ranging in site from one foot to 12 feet tall. They can be placed In low light or bright and can be used In the home or office. From noon until 8 p.m., church members can stretch out their blan­ kets and set up lawn chairs to enjoy balloons, the amenities of Park, and soda pop, beer, hot dogs, corn, or whatever they wish to bring from home. Colleen Huff and the Catholic Youth Organization will chair the games, and many other parish groups, like Renew, will be represented. Andy Pace and Bill Miller are 1985 picnic chairmen and they guar­ antee good weather and a great time.
