Richmond Rd. McHenry, from 3 to 7 p.m. Proceeds from the dinner will be used to assist the agency in serving victims of family violence in McHenry County. Turning Point, Inc. provides free, confidential, emergency service to women and their minor children 24 hours each day. The program has been in existence since 1961, offering telephone counceling and referral to its current concept and design, emergency shelter through safe homes, services for men who batter and support groups with linkage re­ ferral and evaluation at no cost to clients. Turning Point continues to serve victims of violence and abuse through the committment of volun­ teers from the community. Ms. Ness, agency director notes, 'It's great to see community monies from community individuals going directly to the community!" Turning Point hopes for a great success. Dinner includes spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, sal­ ad, beverage, dessert, and live en­ tertainment.
