The Lao. Waste Team meets every two weeks to review operating procedures and to solve any problems which may have evolved. The 37-year-old company has worked towards protecting the envi- ronment in many ways through pack- aging, blending, gassing, machinery, and advanced manufacturing tech- niques. Everything used by Shrader Canada is either reusable or recyclable. Theairinthemanufacturingareais even completely changed four times per day to provide a safe and secure area for the team. The exhaust fans are also tested to make sure they are in the safety regulations. Malcolm says, "the only material we don't recycle is what the custodial service uses to clean the floor, and we are working on that."
