"I wanted the theme to be spacey, rock and roll," says creative designer Frank Bernotise who spent time in Memphis, Tennessee walking the grounds of Graceland before converting the cavernous yacht warehouse into Oakville‘s funkiest new entertainment centre. The car, however, ‘stopped‘ in Memphis where Bernotise was so taken with the spirit of Elvis as he talked with the locals that he wanted to reâ€"create some of that enthrallment in a big way in Oakville. The result is a much talked about decor which pleases Bernotise to no end because "I put my heart and soul into it." Almost six months ago now, he moved to Oakville, set up his drawing board, and without the aid of blueprints, designed and painted the entire place. "I wanted to do something no one else had done before. I didn‘t want to copy or buy the paraphernalia," says Bernotise. he was headed.
