The Oakville ~Centre has announced its 1993/94 professional season and it‘s ‘out of this world‘. There are four series from which to choose. Manteca, the Latin/jazz/African percussion band from Toronto leads off Shooting Stars on Sept. 10th followed by. the Oakville Centre‘s new season ‘out of this world‘ Abbozzo an Italian word for sketch Formerly from Burlington, she says she‘s always loved Oakville, especially the downtown core. With training an integral part of her former position, she is very comfortable teaching, and is anxious to eduâ€" cate gallery visitors in original art, for example, how to determine if a print is actually an original or a reproducâ€" tion. She admits she‘s still a student of art herself, learning as she goes along "I like to leap before I walk," smiles Zigrossi, in refâ€" erence to her decision to open a gallery before completâ€" ing her art studies â€" she is currently attending Sheridan College for a Fine Arts diploma. Abbozzo is an Italian word for sketch, which she says she found in a book of art terms and techniques.
