Glen Abbey Golf Course developer welcomes bridge The opening of the Smithâ€"Triller Viaduct over Sixteen Mile Creek is finally here, and nobody is more excited about it than the people at Genstar Development Company. As developers of the world acclaimed Glen Abbey Golf Course and its residential community, as well as, the popular new Westoak Trails neighâ€" borhood, Genstar is proud to have played a pivotal financial role in bringâ€" ing this remarkable new structure to fruition. Ted Lansky, viceâ€"president of Genstar says... "This bridge is a great example of how municipal government and private enterprise can work together to create real benefits for the community. This bridge will be very important to the entire Oakville area. The Town of Oakville is to be conâ€" gratulated for its efforts in making this bridge a reality." The new viaduct will link Glen Abbey and Westoak Trails to the eastern residential areas and make access back and forth much easier. Genstar and other developers in north Oakville made a substantial finanâ€" cial contribution toward the design and construction of the new viaduct. "Money well spend," says Lansky, "and the view of the 16 Mile Creek Valley from the viaduct is stunning." In June, construction progressed in earnest beneath the footbridge at the east end of the bridge in River Oaks.
