Educated at the University of Waterloo in Fine Arts, Paterson was a teacher here in Oakville for a number of years before he took the plunge. His first art show was five years ago. After they were married and before their children arrived, he and his wife did a roundâ€"theâ€"world tour, something of a lifeâ€"altering experience they would like to do again.
