A loan pays off The Gold Awards An early season meeting between two league powerhouses boded well for Oakville‘s tripleâ€" AAA midget rep hockey team as they downed Burlington 3â€"0 Wednesday night at Oakville Arena. The key to the game, he said, was the shorthanded unit which killed off two penalties and goalie Peter Wishloff who "stopped two breakaways." On Sunday, the Blades shuffle off to Burlington‘s Central Arena for a 7:30 p.m. game against the Cougars. "Mike Robinson was on loan from the Blades," said assistant coach Bob Kapustic. "He brought the whole team‘s level of play up a notch." Mike Muldoon scored the winner (from Adam Richards and Rob Frankovic) with Rob Frankovic providing both insurâ€" ance markers (first one from Adam Richards and Jeff Wells and the second one from Adam Richards and Rob Muldoon).
