As a component of the study, the municipality is inviting all répresentatives from the retail commercial sector, Chamber of Commerce, local BIAs, merchant associations, mall representatives, the development industry, real estate, and any other interested parties, to attend a public meeting concerning the (draft) market study. The specific purpose of the meeting is to present to the business community the findings and recommendations of the draft market study, and to provide the business community an opportunity for direct input and comment on the study findings and implications. The Town of Oakville is currently undertaking a comprehensive retail commercial market study for the whole of the municipality.
