There are a number of things we can do everyday to conserve water and ensure there is an adequate water supply to meet essential uses and for fire protection, Lawns only need 2.5 cm (1") of water a week to stay healthy. To ensure that you are not overwatering consider using a SmartTimer with your sprinkler, or use a rain gauge to measure the amount of water your lawn receives each week. Your ongoing conservation efforts will help ensure an adequate water supply to meet all our needs throughout the hot summer months.
