www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday December 6, 2006 - 7 Lone man robs Scotiabank Halton Regional Police are investigating a robbery at the Scotiabank, 525 Iroquois Shore Rd., at lunchtime yesterday. Just after 12:30 p.m., a man entered the bank, approached the teller and demanded money. He indicated he had a gun on him, but it wasn't seen. An undisclosed amount of cash was surrendered and the man fled, running east towards Eighth Line. No one was physically harmed during the robbery. The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 6-foot, about 25 to 30 years of age, with a tan complexion. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark coloured army style jacket, a black baseball cap with a white logo on the front, black jeans and black boots. The Halton Regional Police Service is continuing to investigate this incident.
