She explains that dining in her restaurant is a delightful experience for both her customer and for herself. `I have met so many wonderful people through Cilantro," says Emelee. "These friends have made it so much easier to leave Malaysia." Emelee explains that she met one particular customer who turned into a very close friend. Sadly, she passed away recently. "Barbara Williamson was a wonderful person with an extremely positive outlook on life who touched so many lives. She loved it here," explains Emelee. "It is people like her who made it so much easier for me in a new country. This restaurant has allowed to me to meet Barbara and many other friends." This hidden jewel, as described by many customers has a following of loyal fans. `When times get challenging I think of my customers who have left me notes about their experiences," says Emelee. "I go to my book of memoirs, and read their messages it uplifts me to read the wonderful things they have to say. It makes all the challenges that I face with this restaurant worth it." A new fan to Cilantro is the Toronto Star, as they recently reviewed Emelee's restaurant. `We received the very rare `excellent' rating from their food critic," exclaims Emelee. "I was so happy to know that our atmosphere, food and service received such a high rating!" Cilantro offers an eclectic menu with something for every one. They have a full children's menu and a full vegetarian menu too. Emelee's goal is to serve her customers great-tasting yet healthier food.
