As the pastel artist puts it, "Particularly because we're losing all of it." Joshua Creek and scenes in North Oakville near Dundas are just some of what Oakley has captured on canvas. A five-year member of the Oakville Art Society, Oakley has been part of various group shows in town, as well as in England and Hamilton. Her solo show will run from until March 12 at the Oakville Art Society's home base, 560 Bronte Rd.
