File No. Z.1433.02 Members of the public are invited to attend and provide input at this Public Information meeting hosted by the Planning Services Department to be held on: Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 7 p.m. Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road - Oakville Room The Town of Oakville has received a "Complete Application" from Bronte Creek Community Limited to amend the Zoning By-law. The amendment seeks to amend the Zoning By-law as it relates to the subject lands in accordance with the following: · To deem the common element condominium roadway a public road for zoning purposes; · To add semi-detached dwellings as a permitted use within the R8 zone; · To allow a front yard setback of 3.0 metres (minimum) for semi-detached dwellings within the R8 zone; · To allow a rear yard setback of 6.0 metres (minimum) for permitted uses within the R8 zone; · To allow a setback of 1.0 metre (minimum) from a daylight triangle for permitted uses within the R8 zone; · To allow a building height of 3 storeys (maximum) for permitted uses within the R8 zone. Following this meeting, a staff report will be prepared, which will be presented at a future statutory public meeting before the Planning & Development Council. Notice of the public meeting will be advertised in the future. These lands are also the subject of a Site Plan application (File No. S.P. 1433.001/01) which has been appealed to the Ontario Municipal Board. (OMB File No. PL061259). If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Oakville, Planning Services Department before the zoning by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Oakville Council to the Ontario Municipal Board. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Oakville, Planning Services Department before the zoning by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so. The public may view planning documents and background material at the Planning Services Department between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
