As well, a very special thank you to all the dedicated and determined volunteers who donate their time & talent, some of whom are noted here! THANK YOU ALL! The Bronte Butterfly Foundation is a not for profit, registered charitable organization with a mandate to create an interactive learning environment for children and visitors to Halton. This natural butterfly habitat and winter skateway will be built on the shores of Lake Ontario alongside historic Bronte Harbour in southwest Oakville. DAVID RITCHIE / SPECIAL TO THE BEAVER MORE LESSONS NEEDED: A father and child practicing driving with a golf cart ran into trouble Thursday afternoon when they accidentally drove the cart into Bronte Harbour, according to the Halton Regional Police. No one was injured at the scene. By the time the Oakville Fire Department arrived, the two were already out of the water. A truck and boom were used to remove the golf cart from the water. The accident caused a small amount of gas and oil to be spilled in the water, which was cleaned by the fire department. For more information about the Butterfly Park and Winter Skateway, please call the Bronte Butterfly Foundation at 905-825-2245 or 1-888-452-3333 toll free, or drop by the office at 2368 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville. www.butterflys.ca "At last a worry free window and door installation with an Iron Clad guarantee*!!!" 5 reasons we can make this guarantee: 1.
