Douglas is survived and will be missed by his children, Chris (and Debbie), Brian (and Susan), Elizabeth and Charles, and all their families. He now joins deceased wife Eunice, and their eldest son Geoffrey, in eternity. Douglas spent 7 years in the RCN during the 2nd World war and afterwards, worked his entire career at Brown, Baldwin, Nisker, a brokerage firm in Toronto. During his later years, he spent a great deal of time with the Erin Mills Model Railroad Association and worked as a crossing guard in the town of Oakville. He was an avid reader and a lifetime student of Military and Canadian history.
