This latest honour comes as a result of Armstrong's tasty assignment in St. Stephen earlier in her writing career. She wrote about the town's annual Chocolate Fest for Canadian Living magazine more than 20 years ago. Her article brought national and worldwide publicity to St. Stephen, Canada's Chocolate Town and home of Ganong Bros. Ltd., Canada's oldest chocolate manufacturer. "Sally Armstrong's induction into the Chocolate Lover's Society is of historical significance," said Duncan McGeachy, who spearheaded the town's chocolate festival and was its founding chairman in 1985, the first year the event was held. "In 1986 her national magazine story in Canadian Living magazine gave our chocolate festival widespread publicity," said McGeachy, who presented the award at the festival's sold-out Choctail Hour, part of this year's Chocolate Fest at Ganong Place, formerly the Ganong chocolate factory and now a downtown business and residential complex. It's home to the town's Chocolate Museum and Ganong Chocolatier, an upscale retail outlet for the company's hand-dipped chocolates. Choctail Hour was held in the second-floor factory, a space that has sat empty for 17 years, ever since Ganong's chocolate production moved into a new facility in 1990. Based on Youtube `What about Sitting Duck loans?' the media calls him a `Crusader'. I am a conservationist and environmentalist. I am an educator at heart and I promote preference to `Recycle', `Reuse', `Reduce' and `Refuse'. I want better disposal of small batteries and `Refuse' options for such as telephone directories. ~ I joined the NDP to find and reflect: `Reason in the way we live now' ~ At 15% in Halton Region, I write about `Identity Theft' and `Mortgage Fraud'. I am the founder of `Canadians for Fairness in Lending' as an affiliate of www.affil.org. We want an Ontario `Responsible Lending Act' as a logical outcome of Peter Kormos's idea for an investigation into lending practices. To do this: Jack Layton, Howard Hampton and a thousand constituents have signed a petition for proper `Identity Validation' and `Financial Due Diligence'. People tell me and I agree: We also need a CRI `Complaint Response Indicator' to track the status of all sector ombudsman and government agency intake records. I would be grateful to be selected the NDP candidate by the Oakville Riding. Allegro central vacuum Allegro central va systems systems HURRY! FOR EVEN MORE SAVINGS!
