Downtown Oakville Business Improvement Area in association with Formula Media Group recently unveiled the launch of the new Our Town Downtown Oakville Magazine. It's a lifestyle publication covering food, fashion, décor and events of downtown Oakville. "The magazine has evolved a great deal from when it was first published in 1998 as a black and white newspaper section," said Joseph Diodati, Our Town Downtown chair, social chair and owner of Johnathan Quinn for Men. "We are sure you will enjoy this new publication and all that downtown Oakville has to offer." The official magazine launch took place at Fruits and Passion in downtown Oakville at the BIA's quarterly social. The turnout included the Our Town Downtown Committee, downtown Oakville BIA staff, local business owners and staff and media. Our Town Downtown Oakville magazine has changed to reflect how downtown Oakville has blossomed and evolved. It is a guide to what is happening in downtown Oakville and keeps readers in the know. The magazine is published three times per year in the fall, winter and spring, and features will change every issue. The September issue hits the streets now and is distributed through The Oakville Beaver, Mississauga News and The Burlington Post.
