C o n d o l e n c e s m a y b e m a d e through www.koprivataylor.com Obituaries LUNDY, Lynda (nee Shipley) passed away on the 16th day of October, 2007, at the age of 43, after a three year battle with colon cancer that she fought with grace, dignity and courage and a sense of humour, even through the toughest times and adversity. By any measure, Lyn's life was a success. She was a much loved daughter and sister, an adored wife, a loving m o t h e r and faithful friend to all who were privileged to know herwell. Family was always the highest of Lyn's priorities. She married the love of her life, Jonathan Lundy, on July 13, 1991 and together started a family. She deeply loved her children, Joshua, age 14 and Natasha, age 11, was closely involved in every phase of their lives and treasured every moment they spent together. Lyn enjoyed volunteering at school, watching her children at hockey arenas and in dance studios, gardening and running the trails of Oakville with her beloved dog, Sam. Lyn dealt with her illness the way she went through life, with courage, determination and a sense of humour and with the devotion, love and support of family and friends. She will always be remembered as a wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend, who loved us, gave us strength, enriched our lives and in the midst of a terrible illness, taught us to enjoy every day and live life to the fullest. Our world and lives are much diminished without Lyn here with us and she will go on in our hearts forever. Lyn will be remembered and missed by her husband, Jonathan Lundy; son, Joshua; daughter, Natasha; mother, Betty Shipley; father, Bruce Shipley and wife Effie; sister, Alexis Peters (Debra Shipley); brother, Bruce Shipley and wife Jill; brother, Doug Shipley and wife Lisa; parents-in-law, Howard and Rena Lundy; brother-in-law, Andrew Lundy and wife Heidi; many cousins, nieces and nephews and numerous other family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge and thank family and friends for the outpouring of love, warmth, care and support provided over the past three years. The compassion and professionalism shown by the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Credit Valley Hospital are also appreciated by Lyn and her family.
