The bantam A Hornets went undefeated in their five games, outscoring their opposition 25-2, to win gold; the bantam AA Hornets narrowly missed gold themselves, dropping the championship game in a shootout and settling for silver; and the peewee AA Hornets added a silver, dominating their preliminaryround competition before falling to Pittsburgh in the final. All skaters on the bantam A Hornets had at least one point during the tournament, while goaltenders Alex Davies and Jenna Zurawell combined for three shutouts. Isabella Dinadis scored the gold-clinching goal for Oakville in a shootout against the London Devilettes. Rounding out the bantam A squad are Evelyn McLean, Renata Martone, Maeve Garvey, Ali McCormick, Megan Walker, Christina McLean, Tori Edgar, Maddie Warner, Leah Burke, Robin Schneider, Laura Medlock, Nicola Earl, Julia Lombardi and Sydney Cudmore. Oakville's bantam AA team went 2-0-1 in roundrobin play, then edged London 3-2 in the semifinal. The Hornets and Victory Honda played to a tie through regulation and three overtime periods in the championship game, before Victory Honda prevailed in a shootout. Contributing to the silvermedal effort were Sarah Edney, Brianne Martin, Courtney Grano, April Looije, Jenna Romano, Hailey Browne, Vickey Procyk, Emily O'Neill, Emily Carter, Andrea Zeismann, Hannah Bale, Lesley Ashby, Erin Burgess, Jessica Hollaway, Ariel Sportello and Kristen Bidulka. In peewee AA play, the Hornets rolled to an undefeated record in preliminary play, outscoring three American teams by a 15-2 margin. Oakville then defeated the Rochester Edge in the semifinal, a game that required a shootout to decide, before losing the championship game. Stephanie Loukes provided excellent netminding for the Hornets in the tournament. Amanda Pereira, Nicole Spadatto, Annie Nasato, Carly White, Victoria Bach, Madison Brown, Alex Thron, Lindsay Stenason, Jennifer Newman, Andrea Benac, Kirsten Miller, Megan Watkins, Jackie Jung, Stephanie Solty and Nicole Collaton also played key roles. The team's other goaltender, Colleen O'Kelly, was unable to make the trip to Cleveland.
