Following the public meeting, a final report on the by-law will be presented at the Administrative Services Committee (ASC) meeting on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at Town Hall in Committee Room 2 at 7:30 p.m. The ASC's recommendation(s) will then be forwarded to Town Council for their meeting on Monday, December 3, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall Council Chamber. TEMPORARY QEW HIGHWAY DETOUR QEW Closure - Third Line to Dorval Drive QEW Off-Ramp Closure ­ Westbound to Kerr Street 11:45pm November 10, 2007 to 9:15am November 11, 2007 To facilitate the improvements to the QEW and the Fourth Line, the existing Fourth Line bridge will be demolished and replaced with a new bridge structure over the QEW. The new bridge will span a widened QEW, support an improved Fourth Line roadway, and incorporate pedestrian and cycling facilities, as well as additional lanes for traffic and transit. The physical removal of the Fourth Line bridge structure requires the closure of the QEW for a nine and half hour period from 11:45 pm Saturday, November 10, 2007 to 9:15 am Sunday, November 11, 2007. The detour route will be via Dorval Drive, North Service Road, South Service Road / Wyecroft Road and Third Line. To facilitate the detour routing, the westbound QEW - Kerr Street off-ramp will also be closed during this period. Questions?
