None of these allegations have been proven in court. Police say the suspect would present himself to people as an ivy-league educated doctor and a successful businessman who had made millions of dollars in the stock market. The suspect also maintained he was the owner of the Mississauga Ice Dogs hockey team and that he owned a percentage of the computer service Google Inc. When arrested and charged by Halton Police Monday, Garrick was already out on $200,000 bail in connection with the charges laid by Toronto Police. Garrick is also facing six counts of fraud, six counts of theft and six counts of attempted fraud from Toronto police. In Toronto, Garrick was charged in September with 16 counts of fraud, reportedly totalling about $400,000 against several Argos, including coach Michael Clemons and players John Avery, Andre Talbot, Damon OAKVILLE DODGE NOW UNDER CONSTRUCTION The New LIESA KORTMANN / OAKVILLE BEAVER 646 4th Line at Speers Rd. 905.845.4211 careers@oakvilledodge.com sales@oakvilledodge.com REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY: Grade 8 students at Glenburnie School held a Remembrance Day ceremony on Thursday morning, which included a 20-minute presentation of dramatic poetry, movement, songs, and music.
