"If there was a situation where an older adult was abusing their senior parent, we would look at what other family was available and really what the person needs to be able to live on their own," said Brennan. "We want to keep seniors in their homes as long as possible and it's not the police's decision to move them out. Everybody wants to keep that senior where they want to be so we look into how they can do that safely.
