18 - The Oakville Beaver Weekend, Saturday December 15, 2007 www.oakvillebeaver.com A Child's Christmas Christmas Game Dear Santa, This Christmas was the most memorable Christmas yet. It sarted when you Santa gave me two section 308 tickets. I was so excited I call my friend Jake right away. It was two days after Christmas and me and Jake were ready for the most ultimate game ever. When we got to the ACC (Air Canada Center) we went to the 300 section. Jake saw the most amazing thing. I look and there was Saku Koivu and Mats Sundin shaking hands. Me and Jake took two quick pictures and sprinted off. Then we are the most amazing dogs. A manger walked up to us and screeched "would you like seats closer to the ice" We jumped and screamed "Yes! That would be great." So she took us were lots of security was and the spook in a strong voice "are you with her" We mumbled "yes." The manager Machelle took us pass two metl doors. She said this was the Leafs dressing room. Then Michelle took us right behind the big wide Leafs bench. Even though the leads lost Santa know this only happens to good people. By Charlie Lopresti A Christmas Story Ding-dong! "Sam, someone is as the door for you", Sam's sister Jamie said. Sam was delighted to see his bestest friend Tom at the door. "Hi Tom!" Sam said excitedly. "I'm gad you came over, what would you like you do? We could tell stories to each other". "You go first, you always have all the fun", Tom answered. "Well, you won't believe what happened to me last Christmas. One night when I was sleeping, I felt a cool tickle and work up. I saw myself in the snowy cold North Pole. I couldn't believe my eyes. Right in front of me was this huge magical workshop! I slowly opened the door, and there it was...it wasn't an ordinary workshop, it was Santa's workshop! I saw Santa! He came right to me and I was shocked when I heard him day "I've been waiting for you, Sam. I have a really sore back and I don't think I can deliver the presents." Santa looked down and me and said "Sam, it's up to you to deliver the presents of Christmas will be cancelled." I didn't want Christmas to be cancelled to I replied, "I will be honored." Santa led me to his sleigh. "Sam, you're going to need some help. I'm sending my best elf with you, Tammy." Santa creped closer to me and whispered in my ear, "All I ask is that you bring me back some home baked cookies." Off we went! With Tammy's help we delivered all the presents. Of course I saved Santa the best cookies. When we arrived back to the North Pole, I quickly ran to Santa and hold him the job was done and I gave him the delicious cookies like I promised. "Well Sam, you saved Christmas." Before he took me home, he gave me a gift. The card on the gift said: To Sam, thank you for saving Christmas, Love Santa. I can't wait for the morning to open my gift. By Jamie Perioris Dear Santa, My family and I always have a tradition every year. I am going to tell you the tradition I had last year. Last Christmas morning I woke up at 6:00 am with my sister Jade. I took my full, hevy stocking and ran into Jade's room. We were having so much fun looking at the stuff in our stockings. After we were done we ran to mom and dad room. We said "wake up!" "Wake up!" Our parents said "just give us five more minutes." Me and my sister moned "ok." So we ran back to our rooms Three our's later. We ran back into mom and dad's room. We yelled "wake up!" "wake up!" at 9:00 am our parents moned "fine." So we ran downtstairs our parents still had to get their coffé and settle dwn. It was now 10:00 am. Finaly it was time to open up our presents. It was a very fun Christmas!
