E., in partnership with Blueheel Dance Studio, and saw two back-to-back sell-out performances. As a result of the Crystal Journey, Akasha's Den and Blueheel Dance Studio were able to donate $600 to the Breakfast for Kids program at St. James Catholic School. All funds go directly to the purchase of groceries, which are purchased every weekend by principal Michele Braida.Volunteers from the Knights of Columbus arrive in the mornings to prepare the breakfast trays. Kids will join Kevork Guerguerian of Hands of Rhythm in a Drum Circle. Drumming is said to increase selfawareness, stimulate creativity and enhance concentration. In a drum circle, children will learn to drum together with a sense of connection to one another. Oakville's Guerguerian has a passion to bring the excitement and dynamic energy of African percussion through the forum of drum circle facilitation. He encourages participation, teaches basic rhythm, co-ordination skills and listening to the enjoyment of West African sounds. He is inspired to bring basic ground skills of musical communication into the world, and from his vast experience, Guerguerian has developed a company called Hands of Rhythm.
