During this Flu Season, please be aware of the risk to patients in the hospital and do not visit if you are ill or feeling unwell. When you do visit, please remember to wash your hands. Hand washing is your best defence against infection. The best way to stop the spread of germs at work, home or in the hospital is for you to practice good hand hygiene. Good hand hygiene means washing hands with soap and water or using a waterless, alcohol-based hand gel or foam product to clean your hands. We encourage everyone to wash their hands thoroughly at our convenient hand washing stations as they enter and exit our hospitals.
