The Online Marketing & Research Analyst assists the Corporate Director of Interactive Initiatives and the Corporate Internet department in the organization, preparation, production, and execution of its initiatives. Position Accountabilities: · Create new online sales tools and update existing sales tools · Develop and manage the online market research library · Analyze, interpret and synthesize data from a variety of sources · Link analysis and results to business issues and/or analytic objectives · Provide actionable, strategic recommendations (where appropriate) · Lead monthly variance analyses · Identify areas of opportunity through ongoing competitive and market analysis · Leverage internal learning, benchmarks and category/business knowledge to provide 'bigger picture' context in analysis (internal & external) · Take ownership of the website reporting tools and manage updates to data and reports · Respond to ad hoc requests (internal & external) for analysis, data and information · Prepare high-quality reports and presentations that are thoughtful, creative and solution-driven, and targeted for specific audiences · Act as an inter-departmental liaison for "all things internet" · Track invoices and assist Corporate Director in negotiating 3rd-party partnerships and expenditures · Assist in the creation and execution of Metroland's online strategy and marketing documents · Use DFP (Dart for Publishers) reporting tools and inventory tools to forecast ad availability for Metroland's websites · Liaise with Olive Canada Network to book, schedule and launch online ad campaigns to Metroland websites · Prepare/issue Corporate Internet Bulletins as required · Other duties as may be assigned Competencies/Skills and Experience: · 3-5 years experience in marketing analysis · Working knowledge of DFP (Dart For Publishers) preferred.
