Vol. 47 No. 73 Accused in One for the road cold case found dead By David Lea OAKVILLE BEAVER STAFF A Burlington man recently charged in the 1980 murder of an Oakville woman has died in jail while awaiting his trial. David Alexander Chapman was facing a second-degree murder charge in connection with the death of his girlfriend Deborah Bleuge, 24, who was found dead in her Sixth Line home on June 9, 1980. Bleuge was originally believed to have succumbed to a drug overdose, but in 2006 new information came to light causing her death to be ruled a homicide. These are among the recommendations listed in the Revised Administrative Report -- Program and Accommodation Review (PE 14), which will be presented to Halton District School Board trustees at a board meeting tonight.
