The Process The Process the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) planning and design process. The Master Plan Update indicated that several projects would be considered Schedule "C" undertakings according to the Municipal Class EA, including the proposed watermain across Bronte Creek. Schedule "C" projects must complete Phases 3 and 4 of the Municipal Phase 3 will include an assessment of alternative routes and alternative construction methods for the proposed watermain, as well as public consultation on the preferred watermain alignment route and conceptual design. Phase 4 will include the preparation of an Environmental Study Report (ESR) to document the assessment of the alternatives, including any potential environmental impacts and proposed mitigating measures. After the ESR has been completed, it will be placed on the public record for a period of at least 30 calendar days and it will be available for review by the public and other interested parties. A notice of the review period will be published to indicate when and where the ESR is available for review. As part of the study, Halton Region and its consultants propose to hold Public Information Centres (PICs) to provide opportunities for the public to review the alternative routes and conceptual design for the proposed watermain and provide comments. Comments received through the course of the study will be considered in selecting the preferred design solution.
