OAKVILLE BEAVER Wednesday, June 17, 2009 · 16 Ward 1 councillors serve up ice cream Ward 1 Councillors Alan Johnston and Ralph Robinson are hosting their annual ice cream meet and greet at the gazebo in Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park (south of Ontario Street) on Saturday. The event is from 2-4 p.m. and will give attendees the opportunity to enjoy some ice cream and refreshments and chat informally with Ward 1 councillors and a number of local community groups. The local community groups in attendance this year will include the Bronte BIA, the Bronte Historical Society, the Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton, Green Trans, the Halton Multicultural Council, Halton Region Water Efficiency, Halton Region Waste Management, the Halton Environmental Network, the Lakeshore Woods Residents Association, the Terry Fox Run and the Town of Oakville Environmental Policy.
