The loss, the A's first in four meetings with the Brants this season, dropped Oakville to 13-7 on the season. They sit three games back of the Andrews Division leading Erindale Cardinals. Conrad Bach had the A's lone RBI on the night, bringing home Oakville's ninth-inning run on a fielder's choice. Gord Robertson was tagged with the loss for the A's. He gave up 10 hits and four runs over eight innings while striking out six. Alex Hawley pitched a scoreless ninth. Burlington pitchers, led by starter Dan Nauth, held Oakville to just four hits.
