Beloved husband of Ana, loving father of Emma, dearly loved son of Yvonne and Murray and stepson of Brenda, treasured brother of Nicole and brother-in-law Aaron, favourite uncle of Ryan and beloved son-in-law of Inocencio and Maria Rodrigues. Murray will also be sadly missed by many other brother and sister in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Murray's personality created many deep and everlasting friendships in all aspects of his life. He was a dedicated Electrical Journeyman with the IBEW Local 353. He worked hard, always trying to achieve and to provide the very best for his family. Murray knew his own mind and everything he did was done with vigour and enthusiasm. The family is grateful for the compassionate medical care Murray received from Sunnybrook Hospital, Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, Ian Anderson House, and for the kindness and care he received from Dr. Petra Tziougras and her staff. The family will receive their friends at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221) the afternoon of Saturday, September 19 from 2-4pm. A service to celebrate Murray's life will be held in the chapel at 5pm with a reception to follow. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ian Anderson House would be appreciated.
