OAKVILLE BEAVER Friday, October 2, 2009 · 32 Southern Ontario Chamber Music Institute presents concert next week The Southern Ontario Chamber Music Institute (SOCMI) will present Not a "Fowl" Note, a Thanksgiving fundraising concert, Oct. 8 at St. Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William St. at 8 p.m. The concert will showcase 15 members of the Institute's alumni and faculty, volunteering their talent and presenting works for soloists, small ensembles and chamber orchestra by Chopin, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Canadian composer Abigail Richardson.
