Kelly Eustace, Hayleigh Cudmore, Cassie Albertine, Danielle Scarlett, Andrea Zeismann and Megan O'Neill scored for the Ice, which improved to 2-3 on the Provincial Women's Hockey League season. Michelle Scanlan made 18 saves to earn the victory, Oakville's second over the Hawks this season. Caroline DeBruin, Gabrielle Leonard and Ziesmann contributed two assists each. The Ice lost its first two games of the weekend, falling 3-0 to the Stoney Creek Sabres and 2-1 to the Mississauga Chiefs. Both contests were played at Joshua's Creek Arenas. Julie Hall had Oakville's goal against Mississauga. The Ice has only one game scheduled over the next eight days, tomorrow's visit to Markham. The team's next home game is scheduled for Sat.
