The review will take place between Jan. 26 to Feb. 26. Copies of the report and supporting documents will be available electronically at www.transcanada.com/oakville and can also be reviewed at local library branches including Central (20 Navy St.), Clearview (1148 Winston Churchill Blvd.), Iroquois Ridge (1051 Glenashton Dr.) It is also available at Oakville Town Hall 1225 Trafalgar Rd. and in Mississauga at the Clarkson Branch Library (2475 Truscott Dr.) Copies of the Draft Environmental Review Report will also be available with some community organizations. TransCanada will receive comments on the report during the review period. The comments can be forwarded to Christine Cinnamon, TransCanada Oakville Generating Station, 8th Floor, 55 Yonge St., Toronto, ON M5E 1J4. Comments can also be registered by telephone at 1-866-317-9887; by fax at 905764-9386; or, via e-mail at oakville@transcanada.com. In a statement outlining the commenting process, TransCanada indicated it is "committed to engaging with area residents, community organizations, and interested parties throughout the development of this project." Results of stakeholder feedback and comments on the Draft Environmental Review Report will become a key part of the final Environmental Review Report and are integral to the approval process. The Final Environmental Review Report will be released in the coming months and will be available for public review and comment for a 75-day period. The date for a public open house is currently being set where company officials will present information about the facility, summarize the key points in the Draft Environmental Review Report and answer questions. The planned Oakville Generating Station will be located on Royal Windsor Drive just east of the South Service Road.
