Bullock wins nine individual gold at OAK swim meet Perhaps even American swimming sensation Michael Phelps, eight-time gold medalist at the 2008 Olympic Summer Games, would be impressed. Oakville Aquatic Club (OAK) 11-year-old swimmer Nicole Bullock won gold in nine different individual events at a five-team swim meet hosted by OAK last weekend at Iroquois Ridge Community Centre. Bullock was victorious in the 50-metre, 100m, 200m, 400m and 1,500m freestyle, the 100m and 200m breaststroke, the 200m backstroke and the400m individual medley. Several of Bullock's teammates enjoyed extremely successful meets as well. Fourteen-year-old Bridget Jordan won seven individual gold, 16-year-old Tera Van Beilen claimed six and 12-year-old Matthew Mac earned five. Other multiple individual gold-winners for OAK were Scott Love, Peter Serles, Luka Tomic, Aidan Tyrrell, Hugo Truong, Evan White, David Whiteside, Erin Assman, Annika Grewal, Annie Harrison, Vienna Holdip, Emily Hunt and Marni Oldershaw. Miguel Lozano, Martin Matuszczak, Reid Scarrow, Veronica Davis-Freeman, Chloe Haslam, Hannah Hunt, Carly Jazbec, Paige Lavergne, Hailey Norris, Sarah Peros, Emily Ramier, Bryanna Samuels, Abbey Saunders, Olivia Sinclair, Mika Spencer, Nina Tomic, Julia Sinkovits, Perrie Armstrong and Jenna Wood won one individual gold each for OAK. In relay, OAK teams combined to win 12 more gold.
