Glen Abbey branch, located at 1415 Third Line and Iroquois Ridge branch, located at 1051 Glenashton Dr., will both open on Family Day from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. All other branches will remain closed. Join in the fun as OPL host special Family Storytimes, Wii for Fwii gaming and download stations for audio and e-books with the chance to win some cool prizes. There is sure to be something for every member of your family. Join in Family Storytime with your loved ones -- these are free for all ages and no registration is required, simply drop-in. Storytimes will feature stories, rhymes, songs and more to help develop a love of reading and early literacy skills. Family Day Storytimes at Glen Abbey Branch are at 2-2:30 p.m. and 2:45-3:15 p.m. Family Day Storytimes Iroquois Ridge Branch are at 10:30-11 a.m. and 11:15-11:45 a.m. For those who want to join in some gaming fun and try out their skills on the Wii games console, OPL is offering Wii for Fwii gaming sessions at both branches on Family Day. Many Wii games will be set up so why not bring your friends and give it a go? These Wii gaming sessions are for ages eight years and up and are free of charge. Family Day Fwii Wii at Glen Abbey Branch is from 9:30 a.m.-noon. Family Day Fwii Wii at Iroquois Ridge Branch is from 1-4 p.m. On Family Day we will be highlighting one of our great online services, Libraries on the Go. You can discover just how easy it is to download audio and e-books anytime, anywhere and also enter a draw to win a cool prize. Staff will be on hand at download stations to demonstrate downloading audio and ebooks to portable devices such as iPods or MP3 players. Whilst checking out the download stations on Family Day, be sure to fill in a ballot to enter our competition to win one of the following.... an MP3 player, iPod Nano and Sony eBook Reader.
