Time is irreversible! It is impossible for a full-grown adult to return to being a child in the kindergarten; that time has passed into history and cannot be re-lived. The Bible says "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die;" Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 Our time in this world is brief and runs out pretty fast but imperceptively. The Bible reveals that life is like a mist that appears for a little while and vanishes (James 4:14). Wisdom therefore requires that we make the best of time because with each passing day we are closer to our exit from this world. In the gospel according to St. Luke 16:19-31, Jesus Christ gave an account of the lives of two men: Lazarus and the rich man. When the rich man was in this world, he lived sumptuously, and without any regard for God. He lived as though this world was the be all and end all, not knowing that there is indeed an after-life. Unfortunately, he discovered this truth when his time on earth was over. In the after-life he desired to return to make amends, but Abraham told him: "Son, remember that thou in thy LIFETIME received thy good things......" Alas! It was too late! His lifetime could not be reversed. Friend, this is the time to prepare to meet your God. Amos 4:12. Jesus has paid the full price for your redemption at Calvary. He resurrected by the power of God and He is alive for evermore. All you need is repentance from your sins and faith in the finished work of the cross. He is right beside you, if you call on Him. He will hear and save you. Your life will not be the same again and your future will hold no regret.
