And despite the unexpected water, people didn't shy away from taking in the fun that included live musical performances, art displays, a kids' zone, an artists' village tent, a variety of authentic and traditional dishes and refreshments, a skateboarding competition and more. Clockwise from top left, Joseph and Alida Van der Vegt watch their granddaughter perform on stage; Samuel Platt, 2, blows through a bubble wand; Jocelyn Pennington and Jenna Filice (right) perform with the Lovett Irish Dance Academy, along with Isabella Thornton (far left); Aaron Jacob, 13, gets some serious air; Ethan Harding tries to use his dad as a makeshift shelter; Blue Radio performs on stage; and, (from left) Quinton Rivera, 12, Ethan Rivera, 10, and Tristan Sorge, 8, wait as a tarp is set up so the skateboarding competition can be held.
