Tree inventorying efforts have been enhanced by Hyperspectral Imaging (HSI), See Town page 3 Lodging house rules tough to enforce Town re-defining lodging house to iron out kinks By David Lea OAKVILLE BEAVER STAFF The Town of Oakville has ironed out some of the kinks in its rules governing lodging houses, but still faces some steep challenges in enforcing those rules. The Town's Planning and Development Council voted, Monday, to pass a motion harmonizing the licensing bylaw and zoning bylaw definitions of a lodging house, which until now had been largely inconsistent with each other. Discrepancies also existed between the licensing bylaw and zoning bylaw definitions of lodger, lodging housekeeper and lodge unit.
