The incident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. when a 34-year-old Oakville man entered Hwy. 403 via the Upper Middle Road entrance. Police said shortly after the driver pulled onto the highway he saw a man driving a white Subaru rapidly approach- ing from behind. The man in the Subaru drove around the victim and as both drivers took the off ramp to Dundas Street, the suspect cut the victim off and hit his brakes, causing the victim to drive up on the right shoulder to avoid a collision. Police said the suspect then pulled up to the victim and motioned for him to pull over, which the victim did not do. At the intersection of Hyde Park Road and Dundas Street, the victim was forced to stop at a red light at which point the suspect left his vehicle and approached the victim. This confrontation, however, was avoid- ed when the traffic light turned green allowing the victim to flee. Police said the victim went to a Tim Hortons drive thru, but was blocked by the suspects vehicle when he attempted to pull away. Police said the suspect got out of his car and threatened the victim and pointed a handgun at him when the victim produced a cell phone, indicating he would call police. After pointing his gun at the victim for a moment the suspect returned to his car and left the scene, driving west on Dundas Street. No one was injured during this inci- dent. The suspect is described as a white male, 34-40 years of age, 6-foot-2, weigh- ing 250 lbs and with balding hair. The suspects vehicle is described as a white Subaru WRX-STI, four-door hatch- back with a spoiler on the rear and tinted windows. The vehicle was a 2007 or newer model.
