With more than 1,000 cleanup sites registered across Canada, it is not too late to register for the 17th annual Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, presented by Loblaw Companies Limited, as a site coor- dinator or cleanup participant. Registration as a site co-ordina- tor ends Sept. 10, but anyone can sign up as a cleanup participant until Sept. 18. Deadline looms to register for Shoreline Cleanup The fifth annual Critters Gone Country Walkathon and Fall Fair will be at the Cornwall Road Park on Sunday, Oct. 3. The day will include a 5 km walk or half- kilometre stroll for animals through beau- tiful old Oakville around the park. Funds, raised through pledges, will sup- port the Oakville & Milton Humane Society.
