Halton polices fraud unit began an investigation in 2008 when it received information that the Oakville dentist was engaged in fraudulent activities. According to the police, the inves- tigation deals with billings from a den- tal office submitted to a number of insurance companies and patients from May 2007 to July 2009. On Sept. 9 Anoushirvan (Andy) Baghaei was arrested and charged multiple times with fraud exceeding $5,000, fraud not exceeding $5,000 and uttering forged documents. His office is located at 301 Lakeshore Rd. W. Baghaei will appear in Milton court on Oct. 12.
