We Care What You Think Halton Healthcare Services (HHS) considers our patients to be partners in their healthcare. When patients are well informed, participate in treatment decisions, and communicate openly with their doctor and other healthcare providers, they help make care as effective as possible. While you are a patient at the Hospital you have certain rights and responsibilities. These rights and responsibilities are recognized as important parts of the care process and are based on the values our patients have identified as being important to them. They are also supported by all staff, physicians and volunteers associated with our three community hospitals Georgetown Hospital, Milton District Hospital and Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. With the input of patients and caregivers, HHS has developed Patient Rights and Responsibilities that have been shared throughout our organization. We are interested in your feedback and invite you to visit our website at www.haltonhealthcare.com to participate in a short survey concerning the HHS Patient Rights and Responsibilities. Thank you.
