There will be free childrens fun and fes- tivities. Lamajano, Oakvilles barbershop- pers will entertain throughout the village, dropping in and out of local businesses. Between 1 and 5 p.m., all are invited to visit Bronte Village Mall through the Sobeys end mall entrance for a world of family fun. Parents are asked to follow the Santa Sighting signs to the mall at Lakeshore Road West and Jones Street. Kids will visit Santa for free photos, courtesy of the Bronte BIA. A special feature is Santas workshop. Its here where children will be able to create free holiday crafts, or spend the time engaged in interactive fun for all ages including; hockey, foosball, games and bouncy castles (for a small fee). Sounds of the holiday season will fill the air with Fine Grind, a male rock a cap- pella quartet. At 5 p.m., the fun moves across the street to Centriller Square Mall for the annual Tree Lighting event. Everyone is invited to sing favorite car- ols with the Tempus Choral Society and former Bronte Idol Emilia Sadowski. Oakvilles Town Crier will welcome vis- itors. The countdown will begin and the night will end by 7 p.m. with the Tempus Choir singing Bronte into the festive sea- son. For information, visit www.brontevil- lage.net. Kids sing Christmas in Glen Abbey Children and Christmas the perfect combination will come together in The Kids Sing Christmas concert this Saturday, Nov. 27. The concert is being presented by Intrada Brass of Oakville at Glen Abbey United Church on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. The award-winning Con Brio Singers, a Mississauga-based childrens choir, will join Oakvilles brass band in a program of Christmas favourites, including White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, We Three Kings and Frosty the Snowman. There will also be a carol sing-along and an opportunity for children to jingle bells with the bands percussion section. General admission at the door costs $20 and $15 for seniors and students. Glen Abbey United Church is at 1469 Nottinghill Gate, south of Upper Middle Road. There is lots of free on-site parking.
