The day-long workshop will take place at the Holiday Inn, located at 2525 Wyecroft Rd. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. with the program running 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. fAs Canadian children head back to school, millions o Afghan women and girls still do not have that opportunity. This past summer, members of the Canadian Forces wound down their combat mission in Kandahar and transi- tioned into a training role in Kabul as part of Canadas contri- bution to the multinational stabilization effort in Afghanistan. Join guests and CW4W Afghan members from across Canada in presentations, panel discussions and workshops on topics focusing on the theme for this years annual conference: Champions: Education for Afghan Women and Girls. CSAWs volunteer network will provide the forum so Canadians can learn from the many champions actively involved in Afghanistan. Guests will offer insight on what the future holds for advancing education for Afghan females and how Canadians can help.
