To be an eligible voter Thursday, a person must be at least 18 years old, a Canadian citizen, reside in an electoral district and have not already voted in this election. The polls will be open from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on Election Day. People on the voters list should have already received a notice of registration card in the mail, which indicates your voting location. People also had the chance to vote at advance polling stations or by special ballot by mail. Most voting locations are wheelchair accessible and all will have magnifiers, Braille ballot templates and other tools to assist those who are blind or with vision loss. There will be pens and pads to help those who are hearing impaired. People can also book a sign language interpreter at no charge to them.
