Help will be remembered Continued from page 6 came up with a few options of tying her up and running to get the car, but I couldn't bear it if she got away. In all the time I was there no one passed by me, so I couldn't ask them for help. I was just about to make a frantic phone call to someone that may be close by when a couple pulled their car over. The woman asked if I needed help with my dog and I almost broke down into tears. My saviours in a blue car. I explained the situation and they graciously offered to drive me home. We talked in the car, they explained they had a dog, too; pet people tend to understand each other. They could see I was upset. The woman told me she told her husband to do a U-turn just to get to me. Wow. To that couple on Neyagawa Boulevard on Sunday, Oct. 16 at around noon hour: Thank you so very much for being so kind enough to stop what you were doing, make a U-turn to get to me and rescue me and Maggie. I really appreciate it and am so happy to know there are still wonderful, considerate, helping people in this world. I will always remember your act of kindness and make sure I pass it along to others in this world.
